A four hour work week??? (where do I sign up?)

getbook1.jpgWell, I rarely ever do this.

I rarely, if ever, recommend a book before reading it. However, this book has been so highly recommended by so many people that I know and trust that I can’t wait to read it myself OR recommend it to others!

I just ordered it online and I am just DYING to get my hands on it because it promises to deliver the answers we are most hungry for. The title may sound like a bad infomercial promising freedom and wealth via very few hours of work. But I hear it is much more than that.

The 4-Hour Work Week, by Timothy Ferriss, as one reviewer wrote, “…will cause you to question everything!”
In a nutshell, the book invites you to:

Forget the old concept of retirement and the rest of the deferred-life plan—there is no need to wait and every reason not to. Whether your dream is escaping the rat race, high-end world travel, monthly five-figure income with zero management, or just living more and working less, this book is the blueprint. You can have it all—really.
“The 4-Hour Workweek is a new way of solving a very old problem: just how can we work to live and prevent our lives from being all about work?  A world of infinite options awaits those who would read this book and be inspired by it!”

OK, I’m in. When I get it I will report back my most significant findings. But until then, I suppose I am still destined to remain in my 40-50 hour work week.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that! 😉
